Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation today announced the availability of the LifeBook(R) V1010 notebook designed for price-conscious markets, such as home office-based and small businesses as well as educational segments. Starting at under $800 and delivering the performance and reliability usually associated with higher-priced LifeBook models, the LifeBook V1010 notebook eliminates the need to sacrifice quality for a lower price.
Fujitsu LifeBook V1010 configuration features the Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2130 processor at 1.86GHz, 1GB of DDR2 system memory, a 120GB hard drive, a DVD burner, and the Intel GMA 950 integradted graphics, managing the 15.4″ widescreen display with 1280-by-800 resolution. Customers can also purchase the V1010 with the Core 2 Duo Processor T5200 at 1.6 Ghz and 2GB of RAM for an additional $100.
This budget laptop has the Atheros Super AG (802.11a/b/g) wireless module, Ethernet LAN and 56K modem connections, three USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, and a VGA output.
